Mary is Chief Usher and serves on the evangelism team at Word of Faith Church in Ndhiwa.

A difficult recovery from a surgery forced her out of more physical forms of labor into running a tiny general store out of her home.
She borrowed money to start the store and is always at risk of defaulting on the loan if sales are not good for even a short period of time.
She is married with three children, two in school and one married and out of the house. Mary’s husband is able to work but, like almost everyone, is having difficulty finding a reliable income; he will also likely be an Inua Jamii Initiative participant.
